Terms & Conditions

​Welcome to Moe's Cookies. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These policies help ensure clear communication and a positive experience for both our customers and our small business.

1. Business Information

Moe's Cookies is a home-based cottage food business operated by a single individual in Washington. All products are made in a home kitchen that may process common food allergens.

Products are sold locally within the state of Washington only.

2. Ordering

Orders may be placed through Facebook, email, or on Moe's Cookies website.

Orders are not considered confirmed until:

  • Payment is received in full, or

  • A deposit has been paid if applicable.

Small custom orders may require advance notice of 15 days, and bulk orders 30 days, depending on availability and complexity.

Moe's Cookies reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion.

3. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash

  • Venmo

  • Debit/Credit cards

Payment instructions will be provided at the time of ordering.

For custom or large orders:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% may be required to secure your order date.

  • The remaining balance must be paid before pickup or delivery unless otherwise agreed.

For credit or debit card transactions, payment will be processed through a secure payment processor.

Orders may be cancelled if payment is not received by the agreed deadline.

4. Pickup and Local Delivery

Pickup times will be scheduled when the order is confirmed.

Customers are responsible for arriving during the scheduled pickup window. If you cannot make your pickup time, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an alternate time.

Once an order has been picked up, Moe's Cookies is not responsible for damage caused by handling, transportation, or improper storage.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Because our products are perishable and made to order, we generally do not offer refunds.

Refunds or replacements may be considered if:

  • The wrong order was provided, or

  • There was a significant quality issue.

Customers must contact us within 24 hours of receiving their order with photos if there is a problem.

Custom orders cancelled less than 7 days before the event date may not be eligible for refunds.

Deposits for custom orders are non-refundable because preparation and scheduling begin once the order is confirmed.

7. Allergens

Our cookies may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Wheat

  • Eggs

  • Dairy

  • Nuts

  • Soy

Because our products are made in a home kitchen, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens.

Customers with severe allergies should use their discretion before ordering.

8. Cottage Food Notice

These products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the state or local health department, as allowed under Washington cottage food laws.

9. Product Appearance

Many of our cookies are handmade and decorated individually, which means:

  • Colors and designs may vary slightly

  • Minor imperfections may occur

These variations are normal and part of handmade products.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, photos, and branding created by Moe's Cookies remain the property of the business and may not be reproduced or used without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

By purchasing from Moe's Cookies, you agree that Moe's Cookies is not liable for damages, allergic reactions, or issues resulting from the consumption or misuse of our products.
